I think this is stunning, both in layout and aesthetics. It’s really hard to make a design with so much happening on the page hang together this well, but this just makes my eyes happy.

Of all the themes I see depicted here your two themes are the only ones that I would consider using.

I believe this one has a particularly good feel and I like the structure. It’s beautifully designed. :)

The graphics here are exceptional. The presentation of the content on the index page is really imaginative. An excellent design that will be imitated in the very near future. A real show-stopper design. Great work, Adam. Easily my favorite work by you.

Much like we all went nuts over styling asides, I think Promised Land will have a similar effect. I know it’s had me thinking.

My theory remains that the only reason this failed to garner any points is that if you’re operating within the BBH paradigm, a design like this is inevitably going to freak you out ;)

I’m astounded that this didn’t win, and can only suppose that none of the judges had a background in design.

thank you for the compliments. I do not wish for them to come at the expense of the judges talents’ though. I do know that at least 1 is educated as a designer. Designers are not always the best judges of design, and the panel reflects that, including marketing professionals, and others who rely on design’s functioning.

not more than an hour ago i was complaining about how i hated most wp themes. they were always too gaudy, too simple, too complex, not graphic enough, too graphic…etc.,

then i find this and i sigh with relief.. upload it, activate it (shaking with excitement,) refresh my page… and disappointment hits me like a rock.

i’m positive it has to do with me using IE

if you’re having problems with the theme, please post them on the theme home page, and i’ll do my best to sort them out.
