The closing of the competition

First things first. Yesterday I neglected to mention and thank one of the trio of elements necessary for the competition to have moved forward (the other two being the participants and the judges). I speaking about the sponsors.

And the winners are . . .

Our eleven volunteer judges each had 15 points to distribute to a minimum of four designs and a maximum of seven. Eleven judges with 15 points means a total of 165 points were to be distributed.
The judges distributed the points as follows:

Judging results announced tomorrow

We have just a few hours before results are scheduled to be announced and several of the judges frankly require a bit more time to get their results in. So I’m delaying announcing the results by 24 hours. Results will be announced tomorrow by 12:00 AM (UTC), Tuesday, August 7, 2007.

Update on judging

A total of 46 designs (forty-six!) were accepted for judging. And are being judge as I write this post. So I thought I’d update all the participants and other interested parties in what’s going on in the competition.

There goes your weekend

Well, the time has come. The deadline for submission, July 29 at 12:00 AM (UTC), is just a weekend away. Here’s the submission deadline for a few different locales:
